Importance of Natural Resources

MSc Ecology and Conservation

Our MSc in Ecology and Conservation builds on a tradition of masters teaching in ecology that stretches back over 50 years. Our aim is to provide you with the knowledge and more importantly with the skills that
you require for your future career. A key feature of our MSc is flexibility. You have the opportunity to choose a set of courses that meet your interests and
aspirations. Courses are available that provide an excellent basis for a career
in research on the one hand, or in more applied ecology such as
conservation or consultancy on the other. The MSc also includes a three-month
research project, again you choose this to match your interests and aspirations.
We encourage and help our students to work with outside organizations for
their project so that they gain valuable experience and contacts. Our
graduates are to be found all over the UK and indeed all over the world working
in conservation; in academia; in environmental consultancy; environmental policy and so on We would be delighted to see you join us
for your masters training and then join them for an exciting and rewarding career. I
would be very happy to answer any questions you may have about this
MSc, please do feel free to get in touch
