I’m going to tell you today, that photography gear. Without which, I can’t imagine my studio photography I am discussing here, Godox V860 mark ii flash . When I started product photography, I had only two 300 strobs. Later I added Nikon SB800 SB-800 supports automatic balanced fill flash that delivers outstanding results as well as i-TTL Balanced Fill-Flash In the past years , flash technology advances bought HSS high speed sycnorization TTL iTTL & Wirless radio triggers. Today, Godox have a most affordable and advance godox radio triggered flashes and lighting ecosystem on the market. The Godox flash system works on a 2.4GHz wireless X system. I have already added godox X wireless system last year, till then I am big fan of Godox system. I have made a video on godox X1 trigger and receiver. I have added card above and you can also find the link in the description of this video so in this video I will explain how it works and also discuss about its features. Now it’s time to unbox it. Let us go This is Godox V860 Mark ii N for Nikon And V for Ving Some of its features Guide No.60 650 flashes with fully charged battery 1.5 second recycle time 2.4Gh frequency for radio trigger iTTL HSS FP for Nikon 1/8000….. seconds Multi control Up gradable Master & Slave 2000 MAH battery FV lock Zoom 20 to 200 Custom functions Car charging & LCD Panel Now I am opening it Godox flash manual Warranty card Charger Wire Lithium Battery Finally The Flash It come with nice Softbox It also has a stand You can use this stand By using flash off camera i’m fixing here On this side of flash a battery compartment I’m inserting battery here and push back on the flash and it is showing red light indication, it’s on Build quality vry good flash unit that comes with an AF assist light The head offers full tilt and swivel movements a diffuser and a white card reflector for catchlight on this side of the flash a sync socket for cabled triggering and a USB port for firmware updates. switch on Now flash is ready You can test flash from this button This button is mode button This flash has three modes iTTL Manual And RPT flash This button is for zoom settings the flash coverage set to automatically or manually it can be set to match the lens focal length from 20 mm to 200 mm By rotating this dial In manual mode press the zoom button turn the select dial ti change the flash coverage 70 50 28 20 Press button two If A is display the flash coverage is set The icon of flash exposure compensation of the amount will be highlighted on the lcd panel Set the flash exposure turn the turn the select dial we can set the value 0 to 3 steps -0.3 to -3 underexpose +0.3 to +3 overexpose back to 0 by rotating dial cancel the all settings Function 4 button is for the HSS I’m pushing it icon shows for the high speed sync High speed sync FP for Nikon flashes enables to flash sync with all camera shutter speeds you can set the flash speed to one 1/320 seconds to Auto FP or 1/250 Auto FP for the Nikon Camera In Canon cameras HSS will be enabled by clicking Function 4 In Nikon Camera FP or HSS will be enabled by setting in camera menu as we enabled it HSS icon will show automatically on flash display panel without pressing function 4 button Music Music Music come back to M Mode you can adjust the flash output 1/1 to 1/128 by selecting this dial 1/4 1/8 16 32 64 128 rotating back again come 1/ 1/1 flash output In M Manual flash mode press press sync button to select the high speed mode and icon will bedispalyed In M mode This button is for S1 and S2 By pushing it sets in to S! S1 button so that flash can function as an optic S1 secondry flash with optic sensor By pushing it again it will showing S2 S2 button so that the flash can also function as a optic as an optic S2 secondary flash with optic sensor in M manual flash mode This button is for the wireless settings when you push this button you can see this icon Now this flash is on master M for Master A, B and C group The flash..other flashes will be set on these groups A, B and C set on channel 1 CH for the channel 1 By pressing function 4 Choose the group M, A, B, C M A B C then press function button 3 so that the master unit can work in of iTTL and M flash mode I set in to TTL then press mode button again to lock the setting TTL mode is setting on A group after mode setting Press button three select the channel id 1 to 4 I set into 1 and push the set button Now this flash unit on Master mode Master mode on TTL Another flash on A group mode mode setting is a TTL and set on channel 1 By pressing it again flash go to in a SLAVE mode SLAVE displayed on the LCD panel the panel tune orange now I forget to tell this flash unit This unit set into optical flash communication Pressing this button again after slave mode wireless flash shooting radio 2.4 Ghz transmission will be started and this and this ICON will be displayed on the display panel settings are the same that I discussed before like a optical master flash By pressing it again LCD turns green to orange again in SLAVE mode same settings Master mode , M, A,B,C the way of changing the group channel and other mode settings like as I discussed before in optical communication By pressing it again it’s set on wireless SLAVE unit that unit – group is A and channel is 1 and it means this flash unit controlled by wireless transmitter that was set on group A and channel id is on 1 This is a Godox x1 wireless flash trigger it works with v860 ving you can see it set in to A group mode TTL and same here Group A and channel 1 You can see her it’s showing on channel 1 now this trigger act as MASTER and this flash act as a SLAVE See here The mode change into manual and when I will change the power from trigger the setting will also change from here here is power showing 1/8 I am changing the power from trigger 1/128 set the trigger 1/128 and press the test button You can see here slave unit set to the 1/128 blinking of these lights showing the the flash unit set into slave mode As I off the slave mode blinking will be stopped That’s all in this video, I will come again in next Monday and bring, II part of this video about Wireless communication.
